Rhenus UK group are becoming compliant with GDPR, within this privacy notice we want to show when and why we collect your corporate/personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.
We are committed to maintaining trust, confidence and good relationships with all existing and potential customers and would like to use this notice to be transparent with all on how we work with any corporate or personal data.
When and why we collect data.
Rhenus only collect data when deemed completely necessary for us to complete the customer request for business; the information collected can be corporate or personal, but will ultimately all be handled under regulation (EU) 2016/697. The information collected at the being of the business request will most likely be Corporate company information, but in order to process the business request we from time to time will also take a person’s name(s), personal email addresses, delivery addresses, telephone numbers, personal bank details which all falls under personally identifiable information (PII).
We only collect this data to be able to work as efficiently as possible to provide the best service to a Rhenus customer; once collected, all data is stored/protected within our systems and can be easily retrievable if a request is submitted. All our systems are GDPR compliant.
The type of data we collect is completely necessary for the business of Rhenus under the legal bias of GDPR Article (6.1b), bulleted below are the areas that the legal bias states we are to ascertain information to complete our business purpose:
Within the Rhenus UK Group, we use data processors to help assist with our daily activities.
The data processors are our systems we have outsourced to support completion of tasks and to store/protect data in HR, IT, Sales and Marketing, Insurance and Operations. Each system we use ultimately only have support staff that will see only the necessary data for the purpose of their role. The data stored can be corporate data or personal data, but this data cannot be shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Each processor has a contractual obligation to protect your data on behalf of Rhenus UK Group.
A guided example of our systems would be SAP our accountancy system which we use as a vital daily function. all data held within the system is only viewed by Rhenus staff members and used by Rhenus staff but on occasion, we would have a member of SAP support team assist with any issues that may have arose which we cannot find a solution to in house, but the support member will only be able to see/work with the area in question.
All areas of where your information could be stored can be provided in detail up on request, please allow up to 1 month to process the request or if longer we will make sure we communicate this.
When someone visits www.rhenus-lupprians.com we use Google Analytics as a third party service, Google Analytics collects standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website, all is held anonymous.
Under GDPR, the data subject has the right to access and amend any of their personal data that Rhenus UK Group hold.

The privacy notice will be reviewed annually alongside Rhenus’ UK data protection policy, our consenting forms and data access request forms to make sure we are continuously compliant with any updates to the GDPR regulation (EU) 2016/697.
