One of our solutions specialists will visit the customer site and perform a full review. They will discuss the scope of works with the on-site contact and from there build method statement and risk assessment documentation.
These documents detail how we propose to complete the customers’ request safely and efficiently. That can include many different methods ranging from building ramps or scaffold towers to transporting the equipment up a flight of stairs using our specialist handling equipment.
Once the plan is set, our team of data movers will support the customer on the day of works, and have experience at implementing various types of delivery methods at a multitude of public and private sites.
Our experience and expertise flows through the entirety of the business, but is most recognised by our customers through the work carried out on customer premises by our installation technicians. Upon joining Rhenus High Tech, the crew are given a rigorous training program which they are required to complete. Their progression is monitored and record, with both the operations and health and safety teams ensuring that all training is completely accordingly and up to the relevant skill sets required.
The training provided will include information related to product knowledge, effective manual handling techniques, use of specialist handling equipment and best practise experience gained and shared amongst of personnel.
Our fleet of vehicles, ranging from small vans up to 40ft trailers enable us to efficiently transport customer product on appropriately sized vehicles. Each vehicle is fitted with GPS tracking and specialist handling equipment to support on site customer requirements.
Our larger vehicles are equipped with bespoke fittings. We have tailboards with various sizes and weight capacities, air ride suspension, and specialist load lock systems helping us to ensure customer equipment is well secured during transportation. All these fittings have been adapted over years of supporting customers with their specialist logistics demands.
